“Any time a new business comes to Corning, it’s a good thing,” said Corning Mayor Robert Snow as he stood among visitors peering inside. While the Demon and Starchild couldn’t attend the event themselves, leaders from the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians and the casino gave speeches, cut the ribbon and allowed attendees to come inside and take a gander at Corning’s latest attraction.
Rock and Brews features a full bar in the corner of the restaurant which opened Friday in Corning. Many of the residents wore their KISS gear, like hats and T-shirts, as a shout out to two of the restaurant’s founders, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons.
